Potato Soup 2 Cups boiling water Add boiling water to potatoes, carrots, celery, onion, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer 10 minutes. DO NOT DRAIN. Make a sauce of the butter, flour and milk over medium heat. Remove from the heat and stir in cheese until melted. Add ham, and mix with undrained vegetables. Heat through, but do not boil.
