Sweet and Sour Chicken Wings

Ingredients needed:
3 lbs. of chicken wings
1 cup cornstarch (yes, cornstarch)
2 eggs, beaten
vegetable oil
1/2 cup grape jelly
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 tblsp catsup (or ketchup)
2 tblsp lemon juice
Cut wings in half at joint. Cut off tip of wing and discard. Dredge chicken in cornstarch, coating well, dip in egg. Pour oil to a depth of 2 to 3" into dutch oven. Heat oil to 375 degrees. Fry chicken until golden brown; drain on paper towels. Place wings in 9X13X2" baking dish; set aside. Combine remaining ingredients in small sauce pan; bring to a boil at medium heat, reduce heat and simmer uncovered 10 minutes. Pour over chicken; bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees~baste once.
