Terry Stake, Sports Director
Terry began his radio career at WFHR in 1968 and has been the station's Sports Director since 1971. Terry essentially created the WFHR sports department as it currently exists, with strong emphasis on local play-by-play and sports reports. In addition to on-air duties, Terry has handled sports department sales for the last 15 years. Terry provides seven local sportscasts per day, including five in the WFHR Morning Report, and is the primary play-by-play voice for baseball, football, wrestling, hockey, and basketball broadcasts of Lincoln, Assumption, Port Edwards, and Nekoosa High Schools. As the station's sports sales representative, Terry is a Certified Radio Marketing Consultant and senior account representative. In addition to his sports and sales activities, Terry has handled news, engineering and on-air assignments with WFHR in his 32 years with the station.
